Walnut Ink by She-Shen

She-Shen is a Carolina wren.

Crack 5 walnut shells. Remove nut. Put shells in clay pot. Boil the shells for one day till water is almost gone. Cool. Remove shells. This is your ink. Dip in your pen of moulted feather or stem of timothy wheat.
